Network Infrastructure & Structured Cabling in Nairobi
A network that drops packets, overheats in a cupboard, or was patched together over three office moves will cost more than a clean install. We plan the rack, the runs and the wireless around how the building actually works.
Webline Technologies supplies and installs the networking equipment Kenyan businesses run on: structured copper and fibre, switching, routing, firewalls and wireless access. The work starts with a walkthrough of the site — not a catalogue — so the design matches the floors, the power and the people who will live on the network.
Typical jobs include a new floor in Westlands, a branch rollout upcountry, or replacing a patchwork of consumer routers that grew with the company. We source enterprise-grade hardware, terminate and certify the cabling, and leave documentation the next technician can actually use.
When the physical layer is right, the rest of the stack — security cameras, VoIP, cloud backups, guest Wi-Fi — stops fighting the building. That is the point of doing infrastructure properly the first time.
What this usually includes
- Structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6a and fibre) with labelled patch panels
- Switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points
- Rack, UPS and cable-management layouts for small plant rooms
- Site survey, installation, testing and handover documentation
Questions we get asked
- Do you install structured cabling in Nairobi?
- Yes. We survey the site, supply the cable and hardware, install and test the runs, and hand over a labelled, documented network. Most Nairobi jobs are completed within a few days once materials are on site.
- Can you support offices outside Nairobi?
- Yes. Hardware ships nationwide from the Webline store, and we schedule installation for sites across Kenya. Lead time depends on the site and the hardware lead times.
