Product details

The D-Link DPS-500/E is an external 140W redundant power supply (RPS) for compatible D-Link managed switches. It connects to the switch alongside its built-in power supply, so if the internal supply fails the DPS-500 takes over immediately and the switch and everything connected to it stay online. No change to the switch configuration is needed. It has a universal AC input, and can be used as a stand-alone unit on a desk or shelf, or installed in a D-Link DPS-800 or DPS-900 rack chassis, where it is hot swappable.
