Product details

The IDP SMART-51L is a desktop ID card printer with a built-in laminator. It prints and laminates both sides of a card in one pass. It uses dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer for vivid, sharp 300 dpi colour with edge-to-edge printing on CR-80 cards. The laminator’s patented Direct Lamination technology heats up in about 8 seconds. Laminated cards resist wear, fading and tampering. That makes the printer a good fit for government credentials, student IDs, corporate access badges and other cards that must last. Clear or holographic overlays add visible security. Optional encoders cover magnetic stripe, contact and contactless smart cards. A metal-framed body and a 2-line LCD front panel keep it durable and easy to use.
