The Mecer Vesta 2000 (ME-2000-VU) is a 2000VA (1200W) line-interactive UPS for multi-PC offices, small servers, networking equipment and CCTV systems. It keeps your equipment running through power cuts using two built-in 12V 9Ah sealed batteries, which gives you time to save your work and shut down safely. The boost-and-buck AVR (automatic voltage regulator) corrects low and high mains voltage without draining the battery, and built-in surge protection guards your equipment from spikes. Standard USB and serial (RS-232) ports and the included monitoring software and cable let a connected PC watch the UPS and shut itself down safely during a long outage. The software works with Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac. The UPS also protects a phone or network data line from surges. Microprocessor control makes it dependable, and it restarts automatically when the mains returns.
