Product details

The NEC USB External Slim FDD lets you read and write 3.5-inch floppy disks on any computer with a USB port, including modern laptops and desktops that no longer have a built-in floppy drive. It is slim and light enough to carry in a laptop bag, and it takes its power from the USB port, so there is no power adapter to bring along. It supports 1.44MB high-density diskettes. It is handy for opening old files, working with legacy industrial, medical and embroidery equipment, and using old software or backups that were saved on floppy disks.
