The TP-Link Omada SG2428P is a 28-port Gigabit smart switch with 24 PoE+ ports and four SFP slots. It powers and connects many devices over one cable, such as IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones. The 24 802.3af/at PoE+ ports give up to 30W each, from a total PoE budget of 250W. The four Gigabit SFP slots link to other switches or a router over fibre. As a managed (L2/L2+) smart switch it supports VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, static routing, access control (ACL), link aggregation and port mirroring, so it suits offices, schools, hotels and larger shops. It integrates into the Omada SDN platform for centralised management through an Omada controller (hardware, software or cloud) and the Omada app, and it can also be managed on its own through the web interface, CLI or SNMP. The durable metal case is 1U and comes with a rackmount kit.
