The TP-Link Omada SG3428XMP is a rack-mount L2+ managed switch with 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports and four 10G SFP+ uplink slots. It suits offices, campuses, hotels and larger business networks that need a lot of PoE power and a fast backbone connection. All 24 PoE+ ports follow 802.3af/at and give up to 30W each, from a total PoE budget of 384W. That is enough to power many IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones from one switch. The four 10G SFP+ slots connect to servers, other switches or the network core at high speed, and they are backward compatible with Gigabit modules. L2/L2+ features include 802.1Q VLAN, static routing, link aggregation (LACP), STP/RSTP/MSTP, port mirroring, L2 to L4 QoS and IGMP snooping, plus ACLs and port security. The switch integrates into the Omada SDN platform for centralised management through an Omada controller (hardware, software or cloud) and the Omada app. It can also be managed on its own by web interface, CLI, SNMP and RMON.
